OBD2 Diagnostic Cable Harness (SAE J1962)
The SAE J1962 connector is the standard 16-pin D-shaped interface used for on-board diagnostics on light-duty vehicles. This harness is built for scan tools, telematics units and data loggers that need a reliable vehicle-side connection.
Both type A (12 V) and type B (24 V) housings are available. For heavy-duty fleets we also build J1939 to OBD2 adapter cables so a 9-pin J1939 port can feed an OBD2 reader.
- Twisted CAN pair with defined impedance for stable high-speed data
- Pin 16 battery and pin 4/5 ground wired to specification
- Optional right-angle plug, coiled lead and strain relief boot
Typical applications include fleet telematics, emission testing and aftermarket diagnostic tools.
